Hole 4

One of the more scenic holes on the course, the 4th here at Heartland Golf Club adds an interesting challenge from the tee.  Though it is not the longest par 5 you’ve ever played, you can be guaranteed that you will have to lay up on the first shot, and possibly the second.  With water that is basically un-drivable from the tee, the player is forced to keep it under 250 yards on the first shot in order to avoid the hazard.  What this leaves is a roughly 225 yard approach to the green over a large body of water.  Not bad for a par 5, but it’s no gimmie, either.
